Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance of our metal manufacturing facility’s equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with expertise in electrical presses, injection machines, and metal machinery. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and commissioning equipment while driving efficiency through automation, PLC diagnostics, and lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical presses, injection machines, metal machinery, and related systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Install, commission, and test new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues, implementing effective solutions to maintain production continuity.
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and extend asset lifespan.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams to support operational efficiency and process improvements.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance metrics.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve maintenance processes, and enhance productivity.
• Program and maintain PLC-based control systems, ensuring accurate diagnostics and system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
• Train and guide maintenance technicians on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Generate maintenance reports and analyze performance data.
