Search Engine Optimization
Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into content to improve search engine visibility and rankings.
Optimize content for SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking, to increase organic traffic and conversions.
Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure content remains optimized for search engines.
Content Editing and Proofreading
Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency.
Proofread final drafts to identify and correct errors before publication or distribution.
Collaborate with editors and stakeholders to incorporate feedback and revisions as needed.
Content Strategy and Planning
Work closely with marketing and communication teams to develop content strategies and editorial calendars that support business goals and marketing campaigns.
Identify content gaps and opportunities based on audience insights, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
Monitor content performance and analytics to track key metrics, assess effectiveness, and optimize content strategy accordingly.
Content Distribution and Promotion
Coordinate with social media and digital marketing teams to promote content across relevant channels and platforms.
Develop promotional strategies and campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and reach of content assets.
Monitor social media conversations and engage with audiences to foster community and drive conversation around content topics.
Content Research and Trend Analysis
Conduct research on relevant topics, industries, and competitors to identify content opportunities and insights.
Leverage data and analytics tools to track content performance, monitor trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Other:
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and punctuation.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to generate original ideas and adapt writing style to different formats and audiences.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, as well as familiarity with content writing tools and software.
