Job Description
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during the construction phases of projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and proposed corrective actions.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and change orders.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- attendee regular meetings with project teams to communicate progress, resolve issues, and address concerns.
- Provide technical support and guidance to contractors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
- Act as the Company representative with the selected contractors during the program execution.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the key contractors.
- Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
- Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
- Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Architectural Engineering or practice.
- +10 years of experience in High Voltage substation or power plants
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Project management or supervisory experience is preferred
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to motivate others
