Job Description
We are seeking an Import-Export Logistics Specialist to join our team and play a key role in optimizing the logistics operations of our candy product at a leading FMCG Turkish multinational company.
Responsibilities:
- coordinate all logistics operations related to imports and exports.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery.
- Work closely with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor shipments, track inventory, and ensure the on-time delivery of goods while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key logistics partners and vendors to improve service levels and reduce costs.
- Prepare, analyze, and present logistics reports, identify areas for improvement, and propose cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements related to import/export processes.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Must have 2to3 years experience in the food import and export logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders including suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements related to logistics and international trade.
