Job Description

IT Helpdesk Technician 

Location           : Heliopolis, Cairo

Work Timings : 9am-5pm 

As IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible in providing technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to users 

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with user onboarding, account management, and access control.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Document and track all support activities and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve processes and enhance system performance.
  • Conduct user training sessions on IT tools and applications

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common software and hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and macOS.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and DNS.
  • Good communication skills
