Responsible for all communication with suppliers as well as receiving both their commercial and technical offers.
Coordinating between our technical department and the suppliers, in order to receive technical approvals for all materials.
Following up with both our accounting and logistics department so that all necessary payment procedures and material handling & transportation is being carried out as agreed with the supplier
Following up withthe suppliers delivery& payment accordingly with the concerned departments till the order closing.
Following up materials delivery schedule and arranging and performing material inspection on time.
Evaluating the supplieraccording to the collected data before, duringand after the supply.
Assuring that all the purchaserequisitions are filled in correctly and approvedby all concerned departments.
Preparing periodic reports regarding the procurement function's activities and achievements.
Recommending continuous improvement initiatives for procurement methodologies and taking necessary actions to implement the best practices that suit the project.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) can be beneficial.

Proven experience (usually 3-5 years) in procurement, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
Experience working with electrical components, systems, and materials.
Familiarity with sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations.

In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product data sheets.
Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier evaluation.
Negotiation skills for securing favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.
Ability to prepare and manage purchase orders and vendor agreements.
Knowledge of cost estimation and budget management in the procurement process.
Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks and ensure timely delivery of electrical components to meet project deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of industry standards
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in sourcing electrical materials
English (1st language), Arabic (mother tongue). is mandatory

Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
