Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Researcher to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive legal research, analyzing complex legal issues, and assisting in the preparation of legal opinions and memoranda. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Conduct thorough legal research using various resources, including legal databases, case law, statutes, and secondary sources. 

2. Analyze and synthesize complex legal information to support ongoing cases and legal opinions. 

3. Prepare clear, concise, and well-organized legal memoranda, briefs, and reports. 

4. Assist in drafting legal opinions on various matters of law. 

5. Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law relevant to our practice areas. 

6. Maintain organized and up-to-date research files and databases. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) required; advanced degree (LLM) preferred. 

2. 5+ years of experience in legal research and writing, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department. 

3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

5. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases. 

6. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

7. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. 8. Familiarity with various areas of law.
