Job Description

Location: October – Obour (Based on business need).

 

Job Summary: The R&D Specialist will lead the development and enhancement of products, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and market demands. This role involves conducting research, designing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to innovative product development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new products from concept to commercialization.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test new formulations and processes.
  • Generate and evaluate innovative ideas for product improvement and new product development.
  • Perform and oversee physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of products.
  • Analyze test data and compile comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Ensure all testing complies with internal protocols and external regulations.
  • Optimize recipes for taste, texture, shelf life, and cost-efficiency.
  • Evaluate the functionality of new ingredients and their impact on product quality and production efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all R&D activities, experiments, and results.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations for the R&D team and management.
  • Ensure all new products comply with relevant food safety regulations and labeling requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, products, and technologies.
  • Stay informed about advancements in food science and technology.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the Bakery , Cake , Biscuits industry .
  • Strong understanding of food science principles and manufacturing processes in the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in product development and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language ( Arabic – English).
  • Male only.
