Job Description
- As an SEO specialist, you'll identify strategies, techniques, and tactics to increase the number of visitors to a website and obtain a high-ranking placement in the search results page of search engines.
- You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
- Participate in & Develop new relevant content for multiple platforms/products, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.
- Create a content strategy outlining the tactics and content that will be used.
- Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print actions.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the SEO team while writing for optimum online visibility & Traffic of our websites in search results.
- Proofread and edited blog posts before publication
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images ,and tone)
- Research industry-related topics for updating purposes.
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Coordinate with other teams such as; marketing & design ,to illustrate articles
- Coordinate with SEO team to conduct keyword research & write effective relevant articles/topics
- Promote content on different social media platforms.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English & Arabic
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems is preferred (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A genuine interest in SEO and/or digital marketing
- Evidence of a strong personal online profile, e.g. a blog, website or connections and interactions on various social media platforms
- An ability to understand social media platforms and how to use them to distribute content, gain more links and build successful campaigns
- A good understanding of PR and how to get the right messages out there
- Strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an excellent knowledge of Excel
