Job Description
- Contact the suppliers to provide the requested materials/spare parts within the delivery date.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Evaluating suppliers’ offers and negotiating profitable purchase prices and Issue the PO for the approved offer.
- Schedule the supply of materials/spare parts to meet department's requirement and minimum safety stock levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proven 1-3 work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skill.
- Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related ERP software.
