Job Description
1. Shop Drawings Preparation & Review:
• Prepare detailed shop drawings for architectural or civil works based on project requirements.
• Review and validate drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
2. Coordination:
• Collaborate with other disciplines (MEP, Structural, etc.) to resolve clashes and ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with project teams and consultants.
3. Design Modifications:
• Analyze design changes and provide updated drawings reflecting the modifications.
• Ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
4. Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure shop drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Follow up with consultants and authorities for required approvals.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate logs of shop drawings, RFIs, and other technical documents.
• Generate progress reports to track shop drawing submission and approval status.
6. Site Support:
• Provide technical support to the site team regarding architectural or civil shop drawings.
• Address on-site queries and clarify details as needed.
Job Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
2. Experience: 5–7 years in technical office roles focused on shop drawings and coordination within the construction industry.
3. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Knowledge of design codes, standards, and construction practices.
4. Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
