Job Description
- Ensure smooth and efficient production, processing, and transportation.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and productivity targets.
- Ensure that the coke produced meets company and industry standards, implementing quality checks at each stage of production.
- Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations to minimize risks to employees.
- Supervise inventory of raw materials, and other essential supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Continuously analyze operations and identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Work closely with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, safety audits, and any operational issues to upper management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management
- Familiarity with coal mining techniques, processing, and transportation systems.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams.
- Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges.
