Job Description
- Monitoring the progress of each order at different stages of its development & making sure that the achieved progress on the orders fits the progress anticipated in the schedule.
- Adjust schedules & Re-negotiating timescales if necessary.
- Highlighting delayed activities recommending corrective action plans and setting a new expected delivery date
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to develop production plans based on customer demand, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Analyze production capacity, material availability, and resource allocation to optimize schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports based on monitoring day-to-day work progress actual vs. planned.
- Preparation of management reports as required from time to time.
- Define, Measure & Report KPI for demand, supply & production planning.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and technological advancements in the paints industry.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position ( coating ex are preferred )
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedure
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications related to supply chain
- Strong Knowledge of implementing SAP
- Good Knowledge for data gathering & analysis
- Great team building and leadership skills
