Job Description
- A smart selection of approved suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, and supplier’s reputation and history.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best packaging material price offer and the best service.
- Review purchase requests received form planning department in terms of lead time, quantity, need by date & inventory of each material to guarantee maximum value for the company.
- Analyze price proposals and other data to determine the reasonable prices & terms.
- Prepare price comparisons to ensure compliance with the agreed contract price & material purchase History.
- Prepare purchase orders and manages it's approval process.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that the goods are delivered on time and follow up undelivered goods or problems trace shipments.
- Frequently updating the prices, specifications and follow up with the inventory lists via system to update POs.
- Searches and identifies non-standard or at risk parts and assist in developing new sources of supply.
- Contacts carriers to negotiate contracts/pricing, troubleshoot problems, and to arrange/coordinate challenging shipments.
- Discussing defective or unacceptable goods with suppliers, and take corrective action.
- Managing and monitoring shipping plans Vs. Production plans to avoid any late deliveries to the factory.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Engineering Mechanical / Electrical or Business Administration or Similar.
- Proven experience as supervisor & Projects Managements is most preferred
- Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
- Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field
