Job Description
- Oversee the mechanical work on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards.
- Provide technical guidance on-site for mechanical designs, offering solutions to technical challenges encountered during the construction phase.
- Review and interpret mechanical design drawings, specifications, and codes, ensuring they are followed accurately on-site.
- Review and approve Contractors' shop drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and testing of mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Promote and enforce safety standards in all mechanical site activities, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that arise on-site, providing solutions that minimize delays or impact on the project schedule.
- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to address interdisciplinary issues and ensure project success.
- Ensure the commissioning of mechanical systems is carried out according to design specifications and operational requirements.
- Support the final handover process by providing all necessary documentation, including testing certificates, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrical Site Engineer
- Proven experience in managing mechanical installations for large-scale construction projects.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems design, installation, and testing procedures.
- Strong knowledge of local and international mechanical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
