Job Description
- Organizing routine servicing schedules
- Allocating work to a team of fitters
- Fitting new parts
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
- Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
- Organizing teams to make sure 24-hours cover is available
- Supervising contracted staff
- Checking and preparing site reports, and drawing
- Providing technical advice; problem solving
- Ensuring site safety.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the elevator and escalator industry.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements for vertical transportation equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
- Flexibility to work on a full-time, unlimited, or long-term basis as required.
- Willingness to work in a remote or field-based arrangement.
