We are looking for a Transportation Manager to plan and coordinate all procedures related to transportation.
To succeed in this role, you should have thorough knowledge of fleet management, team supervision and maintaining records. You should also be familiar with safety processes and legal regulations.
Ultimately, you will ensure that all procedures are done smoothly and safely.
Job responsibilities:
- Managing school fleet.
- Managing and supervising the school vehicles maintenance team.
- Meeting parents regarding any transportation inquiries.
- Making sure the buses are tidy and properly maintained.
- Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
- Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications
- Make sure there is no vehicle overloading
- Maintaining and completing accurate records
- Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles.
- Planning, organizing, and managing staff members to ensure work is completed and consistent with the school’s standards.
- Complying with the school’s transportation-related policies, as well as safety regulations and government regulations.
Job Requirements
- Solid knowledge of the transportation industry.
- Ex. travel or fleet experience is preferred.
- Experience working with international schools is preferred.
- Good conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to supervise and train staff.
