Job Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Contracting Manager to join our team in
the tourism and travel sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating,
and managing supplier contracts for travel services, including accommodation, transportation,
and tours. You will ensure competitive pricing, optimal availability, and high-quality offerings to
support the company’s product and sales objectives.
Job Description
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with hotels, DMCs, activity providers, and transportation
companies. - Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent service quality and
competitive rates. - Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Work closely with the product, pricing, and yield teams to ensure proper loading and
positioning of contracted products. - Monitor contract performance, availability, and margins to optimize profitability.
- Attend trade shows, supplier meetings, and conduct contracting trips as needed.
- Manage seasonal updates, promotions, stop-sells, and terms & conditions in
coordination with suppliers. - Maintain contract documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and
legal requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in the same role contracting, procurement, or supplier management in the travel industry.
- Previous experience in OTAs , bedbanks & wholesale business.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with reservation or contract management systems
- Understanding commercial terms like net rates, margin, commission, and dynamic pricing
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- High level of organizational and time-management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and travel as required
- Commercial acumen with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Existing supplier network in the hotel, tour, or transportation sectors.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of B2B travel agreements.
