Job Description
- Lead the design development process, from initial concepts to detailed construction drawings.
- Ensure design solutions meet functional, aesthetic, budgetary, and regulatory standards.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation in alignment with local building codes and industry standards.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and other consultants to ensure integrated and cohesive design.
- Prepare and review design packages for permit submission, construction, and tendering.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project scope.
- Monitor the implementation of architectural designs and ensuring compliance with the design intent, quality standards, and timelines.
- Collaborate with contractors and site teams to resolve design-related challenges during construction.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and product submittals for conformance to the design and technical specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures for project deliverables, including design integrity and accuracy of technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and local regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact for design-related communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working on complex projects across various sectors (residential, commercial, institutional, etc.).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp,3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Must be strong in Architecture design and 3D modeling.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
