Position Overview:
 

The E-Commerce Manager will oversee and optimize the online presence of a 5-star 320-room city hotel and a luxury 59-cabin 5-star Nile Cruise, driving direct bookings, enhancing digital marketing efforts, and maximizing revenue through online channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to increase direct bookings and revenue.
  • Manage and maintain the official websites for both properties, ensuring optimal performance, SEO, and mobile-friendliness.
  • Oversee OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms, ensuring visibility, rate parity, and revenue optimization.
  • Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance using tools like Google Analytics and OTA dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to align online strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation, responding to guest feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on website performance, channel revenue, and digital marketing ROI.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure a seamless online and offline guest experience.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of e-commerce management experience, preferably in hospitality.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in website management tools (CMS) and digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience with OTA platforms and channel management systems.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality and cruise sectors is a plus.
  • Understanding of guest behavior and expectations in a luxury setting.
