Installation & Commissioning:
- Oversee the installation of new flexible packaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform commissioning procedures to ensure proper functionality of all equipment components.
- Train customer personnel on safe and efficient operation of the machinery.
Field Service & Support:
- Travel to customer locations to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and maintenance activities to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Customer Relations:
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding service procedures and recommendations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation principles used in flexible packaging machinery.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in flexible packaging technologies and equipment.
- Prepare technical reports and document service activities.
Additional Responsibilities (may vary by company):
- Identify spare parts needs and recommend replacements.
- Promote and sell preventative maintenance programs.
- Contribute to product development through customer feedback and field observations.
- Assist with training internal teams on new equipment and service procedures.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in servicing and troubleshooting machinery, preferably within the flexible packaging industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required).
