Job Description
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
Stay updated on new features and benefits to effectively communicate with prospects.
Manage Sales Materials:
- Understand the product's and service's materials “like: presentations, brochures, proposals, and etc”
- Update and refine the materials regarding the customer industry and profile.
Appointment Setting:
- Schedule meetings or calls between potential clients and Account Executives.
- Ensure smooth transitions of leads to the sales team.
CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Track interactions and update the status of leads in the CRM.
Follow-up:
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Re-engage cold leads through periodic check-ins and updates.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on the activities and outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving the sales process activities.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Friendly user with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, other).
Skills:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Strong communication skills: (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with prospects and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proactive and self-motivated: Attitude with a strong work ethic.
Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly: Adapt to new processes and software tools.
- Analytical mindset: Understand and interpret sales data and metrics.
- Customer-focused: Approach with the ability to understand and address client needs.
