Prepare detailed shop drawings for elevator and escalator systems based on project specifications and architectural plans.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to extract relevant information for shop drawing preparation.
Ensure all shop drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Revise and update shop drawings as needed in response to design changes or site conditions.
Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.
Submit shop drawings for client and consultant approval, incorporating feedback as necessary.
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion.
Support the procurement team by providing accurate material take-offs and technical details.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in shop drawing preparation, preferably in the elevator or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, standards, and symbols.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
Ability to interpret and apply project specifications and codes.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Willingness to work onsite as required.
