Job Description
Proposal Engineer
Responsibilities:
• study customer requests carefully (RFQs) and understand their technical and commercial requirements.
• Analyze and study the required technical specifications for desalination plants and various projects.
• Determine project costs (such as material costs, equipment, etc.).
• Develop and update a cost database to facilitate accurate preparation of price proposals.
• Prepare detailed and clear price proposals, including all costs and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Department in preparing and presenting proposals (Presentations).
• Participate in meetings with customers to present proposals and respond to their technical inquiries.
• Represent the company at specialized exhibitions and conferences, promoting the company's products and services.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to obtain prices for materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with the Production Department to determine project feasibility and timelines.
• Analyze competitors' price proposals and compare them with company proposals, presenting the results to the direct manager.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
• 3-5 years of experience in the field.
• Excellent skills in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Excellent skills in using computers (spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and the internet).
• Excellent skills in marketing and sales.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Report writing skills.
• Familiarity with materials and pricing.
• Excellent skills in using computers (spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and the internet).
• Excellent skills in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Good level of proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills.
