Job Description
- Conduct field surveys to collect accurate data on elevations, boundaries, and land features using total stations, GPS, levels, and other instruments.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings including topographic maps, layout plans, and construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Interpret and review architectural, structural, and civil drawings for coordination and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handovers.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to ensure alignment between field data and design outputs.
- Perform land and boundary analysis to support design and construction decisions.
- Maintain organized records of survey data, drawings, and field notes.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and local regulations.
- Monitor and adjust survey instruments as needed to ensure accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in land surveying, drafting, and engineering drawing preparation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design/drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of survey instruments like total stations, GPS, and digital levels.
- Good understanding of engineering plans, topographic maps, and legal land descriptions.
- Ability to work independently in the field and office.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
