Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Provide a business partner approach to HR across each of the locations.
  • Performance development, performance management techniques and initiatives, succession and short term and long term manpower planning.
  • Work together with the GM and Head of departments to deliver the people strategy and to ensure top down implementation and reinforcement of HR best practice.
  • Provide a coaching and developmental approach to HR ensuring managers are capable of leading their teams and have individual responsibility for people management.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on HR people issues including the handling of poor performance, disciplinary and grievances
  • Ensure the effective completion of all necessary HR statutory administrative requirements.
  • Ensure an effective and systematic approach to administrative duties is completed by the relevant team members in accordance with the local legislative requirements and in compliance with auditor expectations of a listed Company.
  • Manage the payroll requirements ensuring the correct processing of payments in accordance with legislation and business policies
  • Manage the remuneration and reward strategy ensuring it reinforces the corporate mission and business objectives implement a comprehensive approach to reward management and basic salary payment scales
  • Implement and manage an evaluation program, which ensures a systematic and consistent means of grading roles.
  • Maintain regular bench marking and market comparisons with regards to remuneration and total package, prepare reports and analysis to ensure the internal market remains equitable in relation to the external market whilst adhering to the expectations of the remuneration committee.
  • Develop and manage the functional budgets
  • Remain cost conscious and cost effective at all times ensuring re forecasts are provided as appropriate and adjust spend in accordance with the financial situation and performance of the company on an ongoing basis

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive
  • Bachelor degree.
  • MBA is preferred
  • 10-15 years in the same field.
