Job Description
- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of maintenance, land Scape, cleaning, and security personnel.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility repairs, renovations, and service agreements.
- Monitor facility budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Prepare and present facility management reports to senior leadership.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and implement energy-saving measures across all facilities.
- Ensure all facility operations align with company objectives and support ongoing construction projects.
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Oversee construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
- Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
- Set goals and deadlines for the department.
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Acquire, distribute and store supplies.
- Dispose of, or oversee the disposal of, surplus or unclaimed property.
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all company facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 year of experience in facility management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work arrangements, including hybrid settings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- (or) Diploma in Facility & Property Management
(or) Certified Facility Manager (CFM) – IFMA.
