Job Description

  • Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of maintenance, land Scape, cleaning, and security personnel.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility repairs, renovations, and service agreements.
  • Monitor facility budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Prepare and present facility management reports to senior leadership.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and implement energy-saving measures across all facilities.
  • Ensure all facility operations align with company objectives and support ongoing construction projects.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Oversee construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
  • Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
  • Set goals and deadlines for the department.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Acquire, distribute and store supplies.
  • Dispose of, or oversee the disposal of, surplus or unclaimed property.
  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all company facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 year of experience in facility management or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors and contractors.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work arrangements, including hybrid settings.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • (or) Diploma in Facility & Property Management
    (or) Certified Facility Manager (CFM) – IFMA.
