Job Description
- Participating in the developing and following up of the ABA-VTEC project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources under the supervision of the Skills4Trends (TL)
- Organizing, and planning activities and operations of your target groups-related activities and their contributions to the project strategies and plans at the organizational level and nationwide.
- Preparing and implementing the ABA-VTEC project activities such as outreach meetings, field visits, workshops, training programmes, gathering events, study tours etc. in coordination with the project teammates and under the supervision of the (TL)
- Conducting research and analysis to identify trends, best practices and supporting opportunities related to entrepreneurship and startup development to continuously improve the programmes and services.
- Ensure the quality of the outreach and registration processes of applicants.
- Developing and implementing programmes and initiatives to support the development and of startups including providing training and support for business planning, marketing, production optimisation and financial management.
- Working with startups and SMEs to identify opportunities for growth and development, and providing guidance and support throughout the startup and growth process.
- Collaborating with the other ABA departments and your target groups-related stakeholders, including governmental agencies, private sector entities, educational & training institutions, … etc, to identify opportunities for partnerships and cooperation in coordination with the project teammates and the ABA-VTEC programmes/units managers and under the supervision of the (TL).
- Providing guidance and support to startups and SMEs to improve their working conditions and environment, HRD applies, and practice-oriented vocational training including developing policies and procedures related to workplace safety, health, gender equality and well-being.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to support the growth and development of women-owned businesses, people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to the activities of entrepreneurship, startup development and improvement of companies working conditions including attendance records, programme evaluations, training topics, assessment results and progress reports.
- Assessing the effectiveness of entrepreneurship, startup development and training programs by gathering feedback from participants and analyzing training metrics.
- Ensure the use of available studies and research intended to provide startups and companies with updated information about investment opportunities and working conditions standards to support their business growth and working conditions improvement.
- Ensuring the ABA-VTEC project activities and deliverables meet the project partners' quality standards and reporting to the (TL).
- Supporting the project close-out activities, including final reporting and dissemination of results in coordination with the (TL) and the project team.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in engineering, business administration, sociology, psychology, or any relevant major, holding an MBA, MSc or MPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the SME development sector.
- Excellent knowledge of management, best practices in the field and strong managerial skills.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- The ability to navigate stressful work situations.
- Holds a ToT (Training of trainers) certificate is preferred.
- Good in the English language, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills, is a must for this position.
- The Candidate must be residing in the Alexandria governorate.
