Job Description
- Participating in the developing and following up of the ABA-VTEC project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources under the supervision of the Skills4Trends (TL)
- Organizing, and planning activities and operations of her/his target groups-related activities and their contributions to the project strategies and plans at the organizational level and nationwide.
- Preparing and implementing the ABA-VTEC project activities such as outreach meetings, field visits, workshops, training programmes, gathering events, study tours etc. in coordination with the project teammates and the ABA-VTEC programmes/units managers and under the supervision of the (TL)
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to vocational training, career development, career guidance and counselling to continuously improve the programmes and services.
- Ensure the quality of the outreach and registration processes of applicants.
- Overseeing career guidance and counselling awareness activities in cooperation with the stakeholders such as schools, private sector entities … etc.
- Supervising career guidance and counselling services, provided for groups and individuals.
- Ensure the use of available studies and research intended to provide job-seekers with updated information about the labour market and opportunities to support their career planning and employment.
- Assessing the effectiveness of career guidance, counselling, and vocational training programs by gathering feedback from participants and analyzing training metrics.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to support the improvement of women’s participation in employment-based training, people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to career guidance, counselling, and vocational training activities, including attendance records, training topics, assessment results and progress reports.
- Entering the updated data on the project M&E system to support the following up of the project progress
- Supporting and assisting the international and national (STEs) and (LTEs) during their work with ABA-VTEC and facilitating their interventions with the project target groups.
- Collaborating and coordinating with your target groups-related stakeholders including external vocational training providers, companies, schools and associations in coordination with the project teammates and under the supervision of the (TL), to identify opportunities for partnerships or cooperation that can enhance the project CGC services and vocational training programs.
- Ensuring the ABA-VTEC project activities and deliverables meet the project partners' quality standards and reporting to the (TL).
Supporting the project close-out activities, including final reporting and dissemination of results in coordination with the (TL) and the project team
Job Requirements
- A university degree in engineering, business administration, sociology, psychology, or any relevant major, holding an MBA, MSc or MPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the CGC and/or TVET sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of management, best practices in the field and strong managerial skills.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- The ability to navigate stressful work situations.
- Holds a ToT (Training of trainers) certificate is preferred.
- Good in the English language, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills, is a must for this position.
- The Candidate must be residing in the Alexandria governorate.
