Job Description
• Scout potential startups from different ecosystem events
• Identify and establish partnerships with different stakeholders: coworking spaces, institutions, NGOs, etc. who generate potential pipeline of entrepreneurs/startups.
• Arrange and delivers info sessions about Start IT in all Creativa hubs
• Assist in the online and offline promotion of Start IT rounds.
• Develop the content for TIEC Incubation Department social media.
• Manage and arrange incubated startups monthly meetings and networking events.
• Scout potential mentors.
• Scout angel investors to invite in the “Breakfast with an investor program”.
• Participate in the implementation of the “Breakfast with an investor program”.
• Collect data regarding the number of startups incubated in different incubators and accelerators in the ecosystem
• Responsible for editing incubating startups news and updates on Egypt Innovate.
• Assist in new incubated startups’ selection and induction processes.
• Support in collecting the amount of investment in Egyptian startups from different sources
• Prepare and present different reports as requested.
Job Requirements
• BA in Mass Communication or Business Administration.
• From 5 to 8 years of practical experience preferably in a startup or in an organization that supports startups.
• Knowledge of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem is a plus
• Written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
