Job Description
- Sets up the operating systems (Microsoft Windows).
- Sets up support the office systems (Microsoft Office) & Microsoft Outlook.
- Sets up any software required by business & join the domain controller(s) (Active directory).
- Configures, maintains & tests all computing devices & peripherals.
- Operates and supports the Polycom video conference system & creates required scripts.
- Creates & manages system backup (data, system state, client’s configurations…etc.).
- Assigns users with groups permissions.
- Monitors system logs and activities on all clients, serves, devices & services.
- Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs.
- Attends and actively participates in IT department meetings.
- Plans, designs, documents, and implements of various systems to include desktop PC’s, network work equipment, and software applications.
- Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement dept.
- Executes of all hardware and software resources for the organization and inventory.
- Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
- Follows up the Unicharm MENA rules, procedures & IT regulations.
- Observe the users’ usage and offer immediate misuse report to the IT Manager
- Assists personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
- Provides on-the job training to new department staff members.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor of Information Technology or Computer Engineering or any related preferable.
- MCP, A+, N+ and CCNA or attend the training.
Experience:
- From 1 to 3 Years practical total experience of computer hardware, software, maintenance, support, troubleshooting and networks.
Skills:
- Good command of English.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power-Point, MS Project, outlook).
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, independent employee, ability to learn, self-motivated and proactive.
