Job Description
Conduct laboratory testing, analysis, and stability studies for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards including ISO 9001 and GMP regulations.
Collaborate with the QA/QC team to investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate and introduce new raw materials, optimizing formulas for performance, cost, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including COAs, MSDS, and product dossiers.
Assist in scale-up from lab to production and troubleshoot formulation or process-related issues.
Work closely with R&D, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to align goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
Support product innovation and process improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of cosmetic formulation, stability testing, and product evaluation.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, and Microsoft Dynamics ERP is a strong asset.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Language: Very good command of English (both written and spoken).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Effective team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
