About the Job
  • Managing the general accounting function and oversee the operations of the department (including, but not limited to, Daily, Month and end-year process, Accounts payable/receivable, Cash receipts, , Payroll and utilities, Treasury, budgeting, Maintain sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations, Revenue and expenditure variance analysis, Trust account statement reconciliations, Fixed asset activity,  Debt activity and all taxes recordings).
  • Maintain, update and monitor inventory records.
  • Oversees the completion of ledger accounts.
  • Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
  • Responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial statements and management reports on timely basis
  • Maintain professional banking relationship.
  • Minimizes legally required taxes, and filling returns. 
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
  • Evaluates and Enhances existing internal accounting procedures ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the company.
  • Develops accounting organizational strategies and establish functional objectives in line with the company objectives.
  • Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures increase accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years as accounting manager
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CMA ,CPA is preferable
  • Experience in a retail field is preferably
  • Proficient with Odoo ERP system, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Work accurately with close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Strong written and excellent communication skills
