Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team and oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations across our main company and affiliated entities. You will ensure accurate financial records, tax compliance, and smooth coordination between internal departments and external stakeholders. The role involves working closely with the Finance Manager and supporting decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Lead the accounting team (AR, AP, procurement, treasury)
- Review daily journal entries via Odoo ERP
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and standards
Accounts Payable & Supplier Management
- Review and match supplier invoices with POs and actual receipts
- Manage payment scheduling and email communication with vendors
- Generate AP reports, aging balances, and delivery performance
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Oversee the billing and collection cycle
- Coordinate with Customer Service to enhance collection efforts
Affiliated Companies & Consolidation
- Conduct monthly consolidation with affiliates
- Support the CFO with performance and profitability reports
Temporary Projects Accounting
- Track revenues, expenses, and profitability for events/projects
- Provide bi-weekly financial updates
Inventory & Shipping Reports
- Monitor certificate inventory and logistics
- Generate shipping performance updates
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Handle VAT, WHT, Income Tax, Payroll Tax filings
- Maintain full compliance with local digital tax systems
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly/weekly reports (P&L, AR/AP, collections, budgets)
- Collaborate with the data analyst to build dashboards and insights
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP is a must
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Experience with affiliated companies and consolidation
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines
- Strong leadership and communication skills
