Job Description


The HR Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources function within a factory environment. This position is responsible for managing various HR activities, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, employee satisfaction, and a positive work environment. The HR Representative serves as the primary point of contact for factory employees, providing guidance, support, and solutions to HR-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing and resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances. Promote a positive work environment that fosters open communication, respect, and teamwork.

Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and selection process. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring proper onboarding and integration of new employees into the factory environment.

HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines. Regularly review and update policies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.

Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans. Provide guidance and training to managers on performance-related matters.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver training sessions on topics such as safety, diversity, leadership, and compliance.

Compensation and Benefits: Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, salary reviews, and benefits enrollment. Ensure accurate and timely communication of compensation and benefits-related information to employees.

Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, morale, and motivation. Organize employee events, recognition programs, and surveys to assess and improve employee satisfaction.

HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Prepare HR reports and metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to management for continuous improvement.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and communicate relevant information to management and employees.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
