Capture and process 3D scan data, using that data to create a workable model environment.
Create detailed engineering drawings that include dimensional and geometric tolerances and critical notes for manufacturing and procurement.
Create complex part and assembly models and influencing the way a part is manufactured out in the shop.
Programming for CNC lathes and mills for the purposes of prototyping and/or pre-manufacturing setup.
Ensure the quality of the work by using various measurement methods and equipment.
Proposes solution and tool design for assembly tools and prepares the production drawing for tool components and bills of material.
Preparing the documentation and the algorithm for the design process.
Exercise discretion and judgment to produce the most efficient tool path.
Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths
Work with industrial and packaging engineers to develop, manufacture, and market a product.
Analyze, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal.
Create detailed design documentation.
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.
Produce final design specifications.

Education: Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 2-4 years of experience Design experience at solid modeling such as “Sheet Metal, Weldments surfacing and Routing desired”
Well versed with CAM programming, CNC Trumpf machines.
Decision making is based on prescribed instructions and standard procedures.
Speed, accuracy, and productivity.
