As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design development and coordination of multiple projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams from the conceptual phase through to the production of construction drawings and final deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC System Design:
Perform detailed HVAC design including duct sizing, thermal load calculations, and ventilation calculations in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Preparation of Documentation:
Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and scope documents for HVAC and related mechanical systems.

BIM Implementation:
Initiate and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes using tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms.

Project Coordination:
Monitor and follow up on project deliverables, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely completion of design phases.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Participate in meetings and collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is communicated and maintained throughout project phases.

Team Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring quality and consistency across design outputs.
