Job Description
- Plan and oversee mining operations, including exploration, extraction, and material transportation.
- Conduct geological surveys and feasibility studies to assess mine potential and environmental impact.
- Design safe and efficient mining layouts using specialized software and engineering principles.
- Monitor and optimize extraction processes to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at mining sites.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation on mining activities, equipment usage, and production data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in mining operations.
- Strong understanding of mining methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Good command of English or French, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling reports and technical documentation.
