Job Description

About the Role:
Are you passionate about bridging technology and client needs? 

We are seeking a dynamic Presales Engineer to join our growing team, supporting smart technology and hospitality projects. 

You will play an important role in understanding customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, and supporting the sales cycle from technical discovery to successful project handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and business goals.

Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for upcoming projects.

Design and propose technical solutions (e.g., smart systems, automation, low current solutions such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address).

Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations.

Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, including system design, specifications, and cost estimates.

Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in a timely and professional manner.

Customize demo environments and Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios to reflect customer needs.

Act as the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales phase, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product launches.

Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management, procurement) to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical knowledge in smart technology, automation, or low current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA, BMS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly solutions.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical proposals, drawings, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and products in smart systems and automation.

Criteria & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Mechatronics, or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in a Presales Engineer or similar technical sales support role (automation, smart systems, low current, or related industries)
  • Experience in designing and presenting technical solutions to clients.
  • Experience with site surveys, technical drawings, and proposal preparation.
  • Previous experience with smart building, hospitality, or automation projects is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Willingness to travel
