Job Description

  • Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team by responding to inquiries and explaining product details to clients.
  • Assess customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Recommend appropriate product configurations based on client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
  • Highlight the technical features and advantages of products to prospective customers.
  • Assist the sales team in developing customized proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Meet with clients to gather technical requirements and understand their challenges.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the product development team based on customer input.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay informed about product updates and innovations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications in pre-sales or technical sales are a plus.

Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in technical pre-sales or a related role.

Competencies & Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical systems and equipment.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (engineering, sales, marketing).
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (CRM, ERP, etc.).
  • Understanding of product life cycle and sales cycle.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and internal interactions.

Problem-Solving:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Organizational Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, office-based role.
  • Occasional travel to client locations.
  • Flexible work hours may be required depending on sales cycle demands.
  • Collaborative environment with regular interaction across departments and with customers.
