Job Description
- Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team by responding to inquiries and explaining product details to clients.
- Assess customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Recommend appropriate product configurations based on client needs.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
- Highlight the technical features and advantages of products to prospective customers.
- Assist the sales team in developing customized proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Meet with clients to gather technical requirements and understand their challenges.
- Provide detailed feedback to the product development team based on customer input.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay informed about product updates and innovations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in pre-sales or technical sales are a plus.
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in technical pre-sales or a related role.
Competencies & Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (engineering, sales, marketing).
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Understanding of product life cycle and sales cycle.
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and internal interactions.
Problem-Solving:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities effectively.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, office-based role.
