Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Cyber Security Engineer to support our sales team by providing expert guidance on cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with account executives, technical teams, and clients to understand security needs and deliver compelling product demonstrations, solution designs, and technical proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical lead in the pre-sales process, aligning cybersecurity solutions with customer needs
- Provide in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to customers and partners
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective solution designs
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical documentation requests
- Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy of solutions
- Build and maintain deep expertise in the company’s cybersecurity offerings
- Support proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements and assist in solution evaluation
- Collaborate with sales teams to define and execute account strategies
- Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, threats, regulations, and technologies
- Attend conferences, webinars, and customer meetings as a technical ambassador
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, security engineering, or solution architect role
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains: network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, identity & access management, threat detection, etc.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as firewalls, SIEMs, EDR, DLP, VPNs, and encryption solutions
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or vendor-specific certs (e.g., Cisco,Palo Alto, Fortinet, AWS Security) are a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and working with large-scale clients
- Experience with cybersecurity managed services, MSSPs, or consulting is a bonus
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, demos, and industry events
