Job Description
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Input formats and codes for entry and output of data
- Acts as information source to company employees and other interested parties regarding assigned activities, Operations,Etc.
- Efficient, Professional Communication with customers to keep them engaged with Process Progression, Follow up, Complaints via telephone communication, E-mails, ETC
- Entering customer requests and inquiries from source documents within time limits
- Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
- Ability to work with data base including inputting data into data base, running queries and managing data base records and reports
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Fresh graduate, or one year Experience
- Good command of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Power point)
- Strong Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with team members professionally
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Open to learning new skills and adjust to dynamic work environment
