Job Description
- Design and develop collections focusing on modest and hijabi wear, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and vision.
- Research and stay updated on global modest fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to incorporate innovative ideas into designs.
- Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications for new designs.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colors, and embellishments for each design while considering comfort and practicality.
- Participate in the fitting process and provide feedback to ensure the final product meets design expectations.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align designs with market demands and customer feedback.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably with expertise in modest wear or hijabi clothing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous designs in modest fashion.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.
Skills & Competencies:
- Creative and innovative mindset with an eye for detail.
- Ability to design collections that balance fashion trends with modesty requirements.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
