Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and creative 2D Motion Graphics Animator with strong storytelling and branding instincts to create a high-quality explainer video. You’ll work closely with our marketing and product team to translate complex cloud solutions into compelling, dynamic visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Storyboard Development: Translate script and concept into detailed storyboards and animatics.
- Style frame Design: Design on-brand scenes, characters, and icons that reflect Roaya’s visual identity.
- 2D Animation Execution: Animate scenes in After Effects (or similar tools) using parallax, camera depth, kinetic typography, and smooth transitions.
- Brand Consistency: Integrate our branding (colors, logos, fonts) consistently across all visuals.
- Voiceover & Syncing: Sync visuals with provided voiceover, add subtitles (EN/AR if needed), and handle timing/pacing.
- Sound Design: Add royalty-free music, transitions, and sound effects (SFX) that support the visuals.
- Quality Control: Deliver a polished final version matching industry-standard visual and audio quality (1080p or 4K).
- Create dynamic transitions, text animations, and visual metaphors to explain services.
- Collaborate with scriptwriters and voiceover artists.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in motion graphics and animation (explainer/video content creation).
- Strong command of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and motion plugins (e.g. DUIK, Rubberhose, Overlord).
- Proven ability to build clean, engaging 2D animations with layered storytelling and transitions.
- Experience working with tech, cloud, or B2B industries preferred.
- Ability to handle both design + animation (you won’t just animate premade assets).
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and corporate identity.
- Ability to work with Arabic content and sync bilingual scripts is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing narratives (Problem → Solution → Value → CTA).
- Experience using AI tools (Runway ML, Pika, Kaiber, etc.) to accelerate storyboarding or asset generation.
- Understanding of Cloud/IT/Cybersecurity terminology (SAP, DR, Zero Trust, etc.).
- Voiceover direction and post-production polishing.
