Job Description
- Manage the Supply Chain Department integrating the flow of goods from their source along the whole Supply Chain: order entry, purchasing, procurement, planning, storage and distribution.
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventories by planning, implementing and controlling the entire process, keeping well-replenished stock items.
- Manage distribution and traffic activities by establishing sound transportation strategies that are cost effective and maintain agreed standards of inventory & customer care.
- Troubleshoot and improve the performance and reliability of the Supply Chain System in compliance with operational procedures.
- Control and see that all costs are kept within agreed budget by planning & monitoring processes in order to achieve cost efficiency and evaluating and proposing investments necessary to enlarge or improve resources to achieve efficiency required.
- Manage the remote warehouses by ensuring stock availability at all times
- Manage the Customer Service Department and ensure the quality of the service provided is maintained
- Manage the export department and secure reliable supply to Libya, Kenya ,Brazil.
Job Requirements
- Required 8 - 10 Years of Experience of solid experience in Supply Chain Management in multinational manufacturing entity.
- Focuses on bottom-line results, identifies potential risks and monitors the financial impact of own activities
- Provides team with a clear sense of direction, inspires and coordinates others and keeps them focused on objectives
- Adheres to company rules and procedures; executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high quality results
- Uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively
- Creates a stable and re-assuring work atmosphere; supports and encourages team in difficult times; is firm and reliable
