Job Description

  • Position: Recruiter – Travel Specialist
  • Department: Talent Acquisition
  • Reports to: Recruitment Supervisor

Objective:

‘The Recruiter is responsible for the employee recruiting and selection process in the company’

As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for all the steps associated with the identification, placement and management of temporary and permanent employees for our Business Travel client. You will recruit for this specialist client by creating and maintaining relationships with candidates. You will use a variety of contact methods to do this by using email, telephone, Internet searches and face-to-face meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing, managing and executing the recruitment process of all vacancies.
  • Perform assessments for potential candidates such as language tests, technical tests etc.
  • Perform job interviews
  • Make use of recruitment tools
  • Follow up Referral Bonus leads
  • Organize internal recruitment sessions
  • Organize Introduction days for new hires
  • Administrative tasks related to the recruitment process such as preparing job offers
  • Keep Team Managers and Service Delivery Managers up to date on open and filled positions.
  • Create recruitment reports for Human Resource Manager
  • Represent Convergys at job fairs
  • Write and update job descriptions for optimal candidate attraction
  • Develop new recruitment strategies with a focus on new sources for own recruitment
  • Develop knowledge of customer groups to effectively target recruitment efforts in a cost effective and efficient manner
  • Deliver Performance Based Interviewing training for Team Managers

Job Requirements

Personal Success Profile:

  • Third level education or qualification
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous work experience in Recruiting in the Travel Industry
  • Previous work experience with Recruiting for French and German languages ideally
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Able to work under high pressure
  • Able to deal with confidential information
  • Creative with a resolution driven approach
  • Enthusiastic and organized personality, but also being able to manage continuous changes.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Team player and able to work independently
