Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our engineering team in our metal manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing sheet metal dies and door lockers using CAD/CAM solutions such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role involves creating precise technical drawings, collaborating with production and engineering teams, and ensuring designs meet quality and performance standards to support efficient manufacturing processes.
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop sheet metal dies and components for door lockers, ensuring precision and manufacturability.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD/CAM software.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
• Perform design simulations and analyses to optimize performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness of sheet metal components.
• Modify and refine existing designs based on feedback from production teams or customer requirements.
• Support the prototyping and testing of new designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Ensure designs adhere to regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, troubleshooting design-related issues on the shop floor.
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD/CAM technologies and sheet metal design methodologies to drive innovation.
