Purpose of JobThe job holder is responsible for strategizing and identifying business development opportunities to enable data literacy across ZATCA, leading collaboration with other departments to develop the data products portfolio, and providing end-to-end support throughout the product lifecyclesJob ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Planning Contribute to the development of Data Management Office business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy Develop the operational plan for Data Protection and Privacy in line with Data Management Office business plan and Risk & Analytics strategic plan Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Data Protection and Privacy goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plansBudget Management Discuss Data Protection and Privacy budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process Ensure effective utilization of Data Protection and Privacy budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Data Protection and Privacy and mitigates financial and operational risksData Privacy and Protection Planning Follow on the latest development in the field of data privacy and protection in order to integrate and implement international best practices in daily operations Develop Data Protection and Privacy strategy in line with updates in the kingdom privacy laws and NDMO requirements Develop an in-depth understanding of data and systems used across ZATCA to devise control metrics to ensure compliance with the requirements of data protection regime and safeguard confidentiality of personal data Direct development of data privacy and protection policies, standards and procedures while ensuring alignment with ZATCA’s overall strategy Review and approve developed data privacy and protection plans to ensure improvement of ZATCA’s sensitive data and information access protection Promote a culture of awareness of data privacy by reviewing and validating data privacy and protection awareness programs to secure that internal stakeholder’s have a clear and proper understanding of data protection legislationsData Privacy and Protection Management Follow-up on implementation of data privacy and protection plans and review identified data issues related to evaluation, integration and automation of data to interfere when needed for resolution Recommend improvement areas and guide accordingly development of new projects to minimize facing data issues Supervise implementation of improvement action plans to secure enhancement of data privacy and protection Review and approve developed reports and data assessments to keep track on ZATCA’s compliance levels with data standards and policiesPeople Management Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance Establish a high-performance working environment and promote ZATCA valuesJob DetailsCommunication and ContacsEducation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required Master’s degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferredExperienceAn optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial levelCompetenciesData Analytics - AdvancedProfessionalism - ProficientCollaboration and Communication - ProficientIT Compliance - AdvancedDatabase Design and Operations - AdvancedDevelop Teams - ProficientData Management Planning and Design - AdvancedLeading by Example - ProficientPolicy Making - AdvancedStrategic Thinking - DevelopingResults Oriented - ProficientCustomer Focus - ProficientData Processing - AdvancedEnablement of Change and Innovation - ProficientOperational Excellence - Proficient
