Job Description
- Design and develop the water projects calculations, such as process, hydraulics, mass balance and flow calculations and PID, piping and hydraulic profile drawings.
- Supervise Installation and Testing: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure they meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Prepare Technical Drawings: Generate and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and mechanical material submittals.
- Creating and modifying the mechanical water projects quantities surveying and material take off.
- Coordinate with Project Teams: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct Site Inspections: Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all mechanical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Maintain Project Documentation: Keep accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a technical office engineering role, preferably in water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and best practices relevant to water treatment plants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works - Revit - Primavera
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is preferred.
