Job Title: Leasing Specialist

Department: Business Development

Reporting to: Business Development Manager


 

What you’ll be doing

  • Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight community features and amenities.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a timely and professional manner.
  • Guide prospects through the leasing process, including application, screening, lease preparation, and move-in coordination.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, rent pricing, and competitor properties.
  • Achieve leasing goals set by management and contribute to high occupancy rates.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including online listings, social media posts, outreach events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure all leasing documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and local laws.
  • Handle resident concerns or service requests and communicate with the maintenance and management teams as needed.
  • Support resident retention by participating in community events and building positive relationships with tenants.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • 2–3 years of residential leasing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of leasing best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.
